Ruthmary, my friend and co-worker here in the office, surprised me with a lovely quilt for my beautiful new great granddaughter, Leilani. Unfortunately I am not a quilter, but I am blessed to have friends who are. Thank you, Ruthmary…and Leilani thanks you too!
Shirley’s First Socks
I learned to knit and crochet from my mother who has since passed away. She was a very crafty person who crocheted dresses for all of her granddaughters and great granddaughters, and every Christmas we got crocheted slippers. My oldest sister loved to knit sweaters, mittens and scarves before she passed away, also.

Ava’s Quilt
My granddaughter Ava woke up Christmas morning to a wonderful surprise! She got a beautiful pink quilt of her very own. I wish I could take all the credit for making it, but no. Ruthmary, one of our account reps, is the creator of this lovely quilt, and I just did some sewing on the binding. Have a nice nap, my little Angel! Maybe one day Grandma Shirley will make you a quilt.
Keeping my People Warm with Crocheted Scarves
I have been Crocheting scarves for my grandkids for Christmas this year. I come home every evening and start one or finish one. I’ve been sharing them with everyone at work so they can give me their opinion’s on the color and style. Some of them end up on my co- workers because of these cold days ….. and they look cute with them on.
