A New Twist on Thank You Notes

A little over a year ago we did our second book with Cheryl Malkowski, Fun with One Block Quilts. Cheryl sent me and members of her book team the most amazing thank you notes ever! She called them Quilt-O-Grams, and we loved them. They were quick, colorful, mini works-of-art. We thought they were so clever that we decided to publish a book about the idea. Fast forward to just last month, we released Quilt-O-Grams, and it is flying off the shelf.

I know that in this digital age we can send evites, text messages, emails, and all sorts of electronic communications, but I still like to send and receive thank you cards via snail mail. So, this weekend I made my own Quilt-O-Gram to send to a fantastic management coach I have been working with this year, Nancy Kleiman. She has taught me so much both personally and professionally that I wanted her to know that I appreciate her sharing her expertise.

I had such fun selecting the fabric, fussy cutting, and fusing. And then I went a bit crazy with my free-motion machine quilting. (Suffice it to say I am a beginner and will need years of practice.)

So, check out the book, and my very own Quilt-O-Gram!

    Amy,
You are so crafty! I really like your quilt-o-gram for Nancy.
