    Yes, customizing patterns to fit my stash fabric is pretty common. Or just taking pattern elements I like and use them in a different way. Thanks so much – the book looks intriguing to use for these last minute quilts.

    I tend to alter a pattern somehow, that way it seems more my own.
    But it could be because Im abit undisciplined? lol

    I have customized many of patterns. Thats what I love about quilting. It is endless. You can make 1000 quilts and none of them will be the same.

    Yes, I have customized a pattern and squares and rectangles are the easiest to customize a pattern.

    I am quite new at quilting, but I do change elements in art projects and other sewing projects to personalize it, and accomplish my own vision. this book looks like a lot of fun!
