New Release! Wash-Away Appliqué (on a) Roll … and a Giveaway!

Wash-Away Applique on a Roll from C&T Publishing

Our Wash-Away Appliqué paper is now available by the roll! For those designs that just don’t fit on the 8.5” x 11” sheets, there is now a product that accommodates them!

And for those appliqué enthusiasts looking for more of a freezer paper experience, this new size fulfills that need.

But seriously folks, have you tried this product yet? This fusible paper provides precise results that are mind-blowing! Imagine using the tried and true freezer paper techniques without having to remove the freezer paper! The paper dissolves in just 1-2 washings and leaves behind a soft hand and a subtle fullness that is reminiscent of trapunto work. Because the paper is thicker than freezer paper, you only need one layer of it for a beautiful, crisp edge that allows you to turn over the edges of even the tiniest pieces!

Even more awesome is that is serves as a wonderful stabilizer for adding hand embroidery to your appliqué designs. Before sewing the pieces to your background fabric, add a few touches with thread without the distortion that hooping it can cause.

Have a new product idea? C&T Publishing is interested in your product ideas and we pay you for your concepts. Templates, rulers, surfaces—any type of notion for quilters as well as supplies for sewists and mixed media/fiber artists. Check out our online catalog for the types of products we’re looking for and let us know if you have an idea. Click here for product submission guidelines.
