Puppies & babies

doggy day

From left: Shirley with Buddy, me with little Suzie-Q, and Megan with Tobin

I am so thankful to work in a pet-friendly office! I just got a new puppy and she gets to come to work with me for a while, until she’s old enough to spend time on her own at home. She’s a Morkie, which is cross between a Maltese and a Yorkshire Terrier, and her name is Suzie-Q.

Today she is joined in our Sales & Marketing department by two more dogs…our Publicity Manager Megan’s dog Tobin visits regularly, and our Sales Rep Shirley’s dog Buddy is hanging out in her cubicle for the week while he recuperates from some surgery. All our doggies are very well-behaved and they love their own jobs here at C&T…to give our staff lots of love when we need to take little breaks from the phones and computer screens to refresh and re-energize.

Our marketing assistant, Tristan shows off Suzie-Q to her two kids who visited the office after school

On a completely separate but totally sweet note…we’re watching a very close baby race between Sara in Accounts Receivable and Kirstie in Production…their due dates are June 20 and 25, respectively, and both are expecting girls. So office baby showers are coming next month, and that means we all get to eat cake and squeal with delight at lots of little girlie clothes. And yes, the men of C&T join in the fun! We are equal-opportunity shower-givers by the way…our guys get showers when they’re about to become hubbies or daddies, too.

It’s been so wonderful having our four legged friends here in the office. They bring smiles to MY face. I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful group of people to work with and I look forward to ooohhhhing and ahhhhhhing as Sara and Kirstie’s little ones are welcomed into the C&T family in June.

If Shirley keeps Buddy here too long I’m gonna kidnap him. Rescue dogs rule!
