October Releases Giveaway!

I am so excited about our line-up of October titles and products I just couldn’t decide which one to focus this giveaway on. Then my mind wandered to thinking about Halloween and how fun it is to go trick-or-treating and come back to have a pumpkin head pail full of all different kinds of candy. I remember how as a child it seemed like the huge variety of goodies I got was the most amazing part.

Then I thought back to our line-up of books and products this month and saw that there was quite a variety in the mix—appliqué, modern quilting, sewing, gifts, surface design materials, strip-piecing… And I thought, why not give away all of them?

So this giveaway is meant to excite you the way that pumpkin pail full of different candy did, when you came home after pounding the pavement on Halloween night as a kid and dumped the pail out on to the floor to see what you had. Below is the full line-up of October books, from both C&T Publishing and our Stash Books imprint, as well as our October gift and surface design products. Two lucky commenters will win all seven new releases!!

The Ultimate Appliqué Guidebook by Annie Smith……..Elly Sienkiewicz's Beloved Baltimore Album Quilts by Elly Sienkiewicz with Mary Tozer

All-Star Quilts by Helen Frost & Blanche Young..

The Practical Guide to Patchwork by Elizabeth Hartman…….

As I said, two lucky people will win this collection of our October releases and to be in the running all you have to do is leave a comment here or on Facebook telling us which of these new books and products you are most excited about and why. Comments will be closed at 9am PST on Monday, October 18th, 2010 and the winners will be announced later that day.

Extra comment entries are available to you if you want to maximize your chances at being the giveaway winner! If you take one or more of the actions listed below, enter an extra comment for each, and in that comment tell us what you did and link to the proof where that’s possible.

A sampling of what you will find in the October releases from C&T Publishing and Stash Books.

I can’t wait for Practical Guide to Patchwork. I follow Elizabeth’s blog and I love her quilting sensibility. I can’t wait to see the projects she’s cooked up for her first book.

I think Elizabeth Hartman is one of the most thorough, detailed and amazing quilters, so I am extremely excited to get my hands on her book. She always has such clear directions, simple and straightforward ideas and a methodical, well-thought out approach to her creativity. I know there will be a lot of information in that book, not to mention gorgeous quilts.

It is very difficult to think which one is of more interest as they all are fascinating.Since I’m a fan of applique I’d say that Elly Sienkiewicz’s’ book would be at the top of my list. However the Scandinavian book is exciting too. Thanks for the opportunity to win so much that is of interest. =!=

I really would like to win this prize pack. I am really curious about a number of the books you have coming out. I admire Elizabeth Hartman’s work and am interested in seeing her book. I also have been following the adventures of Annie Smith’s book writing. I have all of the Elly Sienkiewicz previous BAQ books, but would love to see the new patterns and inspiration. I am still interested in making a BAQ,b ut I haven’t figured out whether it will look as good if I do one by machine, because I know I can’t face all of that handwork. Most importantly, I need a boost. Bad week at work, so this would make my day.
