My friend Karen Riley is an inspiring quilter & excellent ambassador of her craft. She works doing machine quilting, making masterpieces of others treasures & is prolific in her own quilting. She inspires me constantly to try new colurs, patterns & methods in my quilting life & always adds humour & love.

Alex Anderson should be honored for all her hard work over the years of teaching and promoting quilting. I learned to quit from her by watching her show everyday for a year, taking notes and downloading instructions from the Internet. She is a wonderful teacher and mentor.

Kaffe Fassett would be an excellent display in a museum . . . or Jinny Beyer.

I would nominate Leah Day. Her free motion quilting is just the tip of her iceberg!
