Bari J. Prize Pack Giveaway!

Our next blog giveaway is a fantastic prize pack including all four of Bari J.’s debut sewing patterns, Izzy Pin Cushion and Toy, Kitchen Art Accessories, The State Street Tote, and the Green Living Market Bag. The prize pack will also include a kit for the State Street Tote consisting of one of Bari’s signature spring closures, purse feet, fabric, and all other materials needed to make the project!

About the patterns

Each pattern has a little something extra in the directions: The Kitchen Art Accessories pattern has directions for fabric collage using free-motion quilting, plus embroidery stitch directions for the leaf of the pear pot holder. The Izzy Pincushion has directions for the blanket stitch for appliqué and for a nifty rolled rose in felt.

The State Street Tote pattern features either a magnetic closure or Bari J.’s signature spring closure, and the Green Living Market bag pattern features instructions for French seams and a really neat way to do a double sided cuff.

love the market bags and also the makeup bags, need to order them for my grown daughters for their Easter baskets, still kids at heart. The fabric lines would make great kitchen curtains and place mats/ table runner, so pretty to look at each day / might not want to open the curtain.

These fabrics remind me of curtain we had on our sunroom when I was a little girl – only with a much more modern twist. Lovely! I’d have to say the market bag or the makeup bags would be on my wish list.

I’ve been following Bari J for a long time and am glad to see her success. Her State Street Tote appeals to me, for I always need a new bag to tote things in. One thing that is remarkable about her is her ability to give you that extra touch–go the extra mile in her instructions and design. (I’m also thinking of that quilt she first designed with the scalloped border–interesting and new!)

If I had her line of fabrics, it would be made up into a quilt to snuggle under. Even in summer, we need a little quilt if only to ward off the air conditioning here and there, and in winter–always useful.

Thanks for running this give-away. It reminds me to look afresh at designers I’m familiar with, or to explore new fabrics and patterns.
