I wish we had all of this lovely dyes in South Africa. We really battle to get nice dyes. I was dying wool this weekend and really battle to get nice colours. I even used icing sugar colouring. I would like to know if you do sell them in South Africa. I am a PFAFF dealer and would like to sell them in my shop. I also do material dye for quilting, and in the process of doing batik work. Please tell me if you do sell them in South African, or can I sell market and sell them in my shop.

So great to get the email and links from C & T. And now RIT DYE. I had revived a family tradition & my grandfather taught me. He called it Swedish Weaving (done on Hucked toweling). We had been limiting ourselves to tea and coffee dying the fabric and after test applying the tye dye stocking technique and seeing the beads and bracelets dyed with Rit. A great new palette opened up to planning for gifts and holiday table settings / Runners and napkins. Always more room for learning. Thanks RIT! John and Lorraine

I used rit dye for the first time WAY back in 1974 to make a purple tye-dyed t-shirt, i’ve been using rit dye for a long time and have never been disappointed!!

I’ve recently been “playing” with dyeing wool, and I’m pretty excited about the whole dyeing “adventure”–I’d love to try out several techniques. What’s really excited me about what I’ve done so far is overdying wool–seeing the different colors and visual “textures” that result from the same dye used with different pieces of wool. Dyeing is just such a marvelous adventure!

I would LOVE to try the techniques in Rebekah’s book. I love the colors of RIT dyes, they are so clear and vibrant. They just spur you on to do your best work! Hope I win, have a LOT of ideas for new color mixtures/designs.

What fun! I’d be delighted to win. I remember my mother using RIT dye 50 years ago! It solved lots of problems for us. I would love to experiment with new ideas.
