beautiful, I would love to have this! The badge is going on my blog
I love the Distant Horizon- I would never have thought you could do something scenic like that with just diamonds! It makes me think of home. : )
Diamond quilts are so beautiful, but I haven't had the courage to try one because they look so complex! I would love to have this book – it would give me the courage to try!
What a wonderful giveaway! Thanks! I'll do everything I can to maximize my chances.
Oh. Wow. Wow.
I love, love, love Jan's books and patterns. Her attention to detail is wonderful. Can't wait to get a peek at the new book.
Would love to win this, love the star quilts and have been looking longingly at Jan's Books/Patterns.
I love Jan's work. Would love to add these books & tools to my collection. :)
Lovely giveaway!
What an awesome prize package!
I have been admiring diamond quilts for the past few years and have finally bitten the bullet. My Fabric of the Year project is based on diamonds. I haven't ever seen any of her products in person, so I think I would like to see some of her stuff. I could certainly use the ruler! artquiltmaker.com/blog
Oh my! Quick diamond quilts and distant horizon are right up my alley! I am so inspired by this…I can picture a new quilt on my living room wall. Thank you so much!
Great giveaway — I’m intrigued by the book.
Just love her quilts – this looks like a great new book. Of course, I’d love to win the package!

Oh, I love her lone star quilts book. I think Summer Salsa is my favorite quilt of hers.
Fabulous giveaway!
Love these quilts (Distant Horizon is my fav). This looks like a fantastic book to have in my stash!
oh fun. every women loves diamonds
The DVD would be my favorite, because I could see Jan in action.
Jan Krentz has the most unique and creative quilts. Her quilts and her books are spectacular!
I love just about anything Jan creates! I have her books, ruler set and have made few Lone Star quilts! Before Jan’s Lone Star book, I admired this classic pattern but was never compelled to make it…creativity of Jan’s designs inspired me instantly, it was one of those great ah-ha moments!! Since then, I am a fan!
I bought the Dancing African Ladies fabric last month, and I love what Jan has done with it. I’d love to use her books and notions to get out of my square comfort zone.

I have always loved Jan’s work and am excited by the new book!
I love Jan’s original Lone Star quilts—they are timeless.
Jan Krentz was the guest teacher at our quilt show last month. I love the book on Lone Star Quilts.
Since I don't see my comment here, but it is on my FB page, I don't know if you got it. Thus, I shall repeat my earlier thoughts. I have Jan's first book and ruler and would love to try doing the landscape shown, though the Chevron is intriguing. A local quilt shop owner used her ruler and techniques to make a wonderful diamond quilt from a photo she had taken. mmm, possibilities!
Distant Horizons is my favorite. I love how a very traditional geometric shape is used to create a figurative work.
Jan Krentz’ Lone Star book taught me so much. I can’t wait to see the new one.
Wow, thank you, C&T! What a great prize!! You’ll all love the new designs – Quick Diamond Quilts is a sequel to Quick Star Quilts. I made so many quilts, I couldn’t stop – and C&T graciously produced TWO books rather than cutting the patterns! Happy stitching, everyone!
Would love to win the Jan Krentz products—I am a fan of her work!
I left a comment on FB, too. I have been admiring diamond quilts for the past few years when I have seen them at shows. I finally decided to bite the bullet and make one this year. I am using the diamond shape for my Fabric of the Year quilt (FOTY). I haven’t seen Jan’s products in person, so I am not sure what my favorite is, but I could certainly use the ruler for my project!

i love this book! I can’t wait to use a stripe from my stash for the quilt.
I love the quilt on the cover of Quick Star Quilts and Beyond!
I’d love to win this package. The idea of quick diamonds really appeals to me. The samples are wonderful!
Quick Framed Diamonds Using Stripes is my favorite and something I need to try soon!! Awesome.
I have your blog badge on my blog!!
Oh, I have the Lone Star book and I just love it! I would love this package!
When you look at this one quilt I see you could use it in a landscape quilt by just changing colors and adding trees, foreground. It would be great to play with the diamonds and see if you could made an ocean scene. The play of colors and gradual changes are beautiful too. Who wouldn’t love to have this new released book for their library. Thanks for sharing.
Just tweeted about this giveaway!
I’ve wanted the quick star quilt books, but I’ve never gotten it, so it would be amazing to win it.
Love the fast2cut rulers. Jan rocks!
count me in….I have never been able to get a diamond square to be just right…and if there is a trick to getting them right….I would love to know it.
Wow what a great giveaway and a great book. I love the look of Distant Horizon.
I would like to win this package. I'm already a fan on facebook and the newsletter. So now I'm on YouTube too.
I have the Lone star book and love it, this one looks like a winner also.
What a great prize package! The DVD would be wonderful and I am sure there is a star quilt in my future. I plan to checkm out the Quick Star Quilts and Beyond. Thanks for offering the giveaway.
I love all of Jan’s books – have them all. I’ve spent a huge amount of time just looking at the quilts in the Lone Star book. Perhaps the most frequent thing I do is cut my strips like she does – do the math and start with the cut that uses the most of the ruler, then slide the rule to each cut without moving the fabric just cut. She explains it a lot better than I do. I would love to win this package. I would share the diamond templates as I already have them. Thanks for having this contest.
Just subscribed to your YouTube channel.
I took a class from Jan and loved the lone star and beyond. I would love to win any of her products but that new book looks amazing!
From Linda Callender: I love her quilts and have the first book and ruler. Landscapes are quilts which always catch my eye and I would like to do the one shown here, though the Chevron looks very interesting too. A local quilt shop owner used this technique and did a great quilt from a photo she had taken. Mmmmm, possibliities!
I like the Quick Star Quilts and Beyond book because I love the look of star quilts and I’d love to make one for my youngest sister.
Looks like an awesome book for making awesome quilts! Great Give away package!
What a great package. I like the Dancing African Quilt the best.
My favorite Jan Krentz book is “Diamond Quilts and Beyond” A diamond quilt was my first bed size that I made for my son who picked out his own fabrics, and I was so nervous making it with very little knowledge. Her book has wonderful construction techniques, is clear and easy to understand and has great ideas for expanding on the basics of diamonds. I would LOVE a chance to win those supplies! It would be just thrilling to add on to my skills with that amazing package!!
I’ve subscribed to the Newsletter and am excited to look at that Elm Creek E-book!!
I’ve subscribed to the YouTube channel. I don’t know how to show you I did. But it looks really cool and I’m excited to check it out since I’m pretty new to all YouTube has to offer.
I think this is such a wonderful giveaway. I think the dvd Jan Krentz teaches you to make lone star quilts would be the best. For those of us who just can’t make it to seminars and such, having a teacher right in your home that you can watch over and over is the next best thing. I know for myself, because I take care of my elderly mother in my home it is basically impossible for me to get away for classes or seminars. Please enter me into this giveaway, how thrilling it would be to win such a prize package. Thanks!
I love her work – my favorite is the lone star, but love most evrything she does. I would LOVE to win the give a way.
She does amazing work. I love to read her books. Please add me to the giveaway.
Although “Lone Stars” is a sentimental favorite, I think I would have to vote for the rulers as the favorite product, because they can be used with Jan’s books and so many other projects!

Looks like a great prize package! Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love to have the Quick star quilts and beyond book. I have seen this book at quilt shops online and I love the cover quilt, but I am new to quilting and I don’t know if I could make something like that, I have no other help locally. I learn from books and the web.
This is a great giveaway! I have been quilting for a little while but basic patchwork quilts tend to get monotonous! I would love to learn how to make diamond quilts but think I would need a good guide to learn how!
This is an incredible giveaway! Thanks for the chance – I hope I am the lucky one!
What a perfect way to use the fabrics that I dye! And what a perfect birthday gift it would be for me. Shoot – I’ll purchase the book even if I don’t win the drawing!
Ths fussy cut ruler set looks great!
Looks like a wonderful book. I love giveaways!
Looks like a great book. Thanks for the opportunity to win the package!

I would like to have the Jan Krentz Teaches You to Make Lone Star Quilts DVD. I think the DVD would be fabulous as 1) I’d love to quilt with Jane and with the DVD, it would be a fun, more personal experience I’m sure, and 2) I’d really love to know how to make a Lone Star Quilt. This is a pattern I’ve long admired!
Thank you so much for the chance to win this prize pack!

It’s hard to choose – they’re all gorgeous – but I am drawn to the half-diamond Thousand Pyramids project. It’s an exciting adaptation of a traditional design. I was fortunate to hear Jan speak at our guild meeting this month (York Heritage Quilters Guild in Toronto, Canada.). What a treat to meet her and see her quilts!
I love the quick star quilts pattern on the front of the book. I am still a relatively new quilter. Is that one hard?
Diamonds are a quilter’s best Friend! Thanks Susan
I have her Diamond Quilts & Beyond and just love her techniques and combinations of colors and fabric.
wow that stuff looks great. I just started quilting again after about a 10 year hiatus . . . I really could use some updated resources and tools!
Woo-hoo! It’s not hard to choose what I like best… at least not if the answer can be EVERYTHING. Jan’s so inspiring and I love how I’m encouraged to step outta my box with each of her products!

Jan Krentz has a great quilting style. She is a great teacher and I love her books. They are very descriptive and easy to follow. In Diamon Quilts & beyond she gives lots of projects for quilts of different sizes. I really like that she provides a placemat project so you can try out the techinque before you invest in a big quilt. Lots of pictures and examples in the book. Thank you Jan Krentz and CT Publishing for continuing to provide quality quilting books.
Her Lone Star Quilts book is definitely my favorite!

I’ve taken a Diamond Monet class from Jan; she was an EXCELLENT instructor and the 2-day class was SO enjoyable. I just love my quilt that I did. I also have her Lone Star book and look forward to the day I can start that. Just got to get some UFOs out of the way!
The colors she uses are fascinating, the diamond and star shapes are striking to see in the finished quilt. I especially liked the African Women prints in diamonds. so many images could be used in this quilt design.
“Diamond Quilts and Beyond” is an amazing book. I think the quilts are absolutely stunning! What an awesome giveaway!
I love the design on Hidden Path, as it reminds me of a maze and could be a real challenge to complete, but well worth the effort
I am a Jan Krentz’s Italian fan, great giveway!
I am fairly new to quilting having made rag quilts and quilt as you go place mats. I would like to expand my quilting knowledge and with the help of this giveaway would be on my way to do so.
BREATHTAKING
Straight away Hidden Path caught my eye! I’m not sure exactly but it is simply stunning! I’ve never had opportunity for a class from her or a lecture…the books would be fantastic!
“Hidden Path” caught my eye – love the horizontal orientation.
what a great book and I am anxious to ha e it. I love diamonds as I have been doing lone star diamonds since the 1950’s. My introduction was by my mother, who was my first teacher, she made a lone star in the 1930’s and it was always was there to be hold and I passed on to my daughter, Your book inspired me. Great give away also. Looking forward to getting this book for mother’s day. Hint to my daughter, whom are all quilters.

What a great giveaway! I love the examples from the new book. Thanks for offering this chance to win!!
My sweet DH gave me Quick Star Quilts & Beyond for Christmas and I can’t wait to make a quilt from these beautiful patterns !
I love the quilt titled Dancing African Ladies. Jan really captures the spirit of the ladies depicted in the focal fabric. Her diamonds jump and dance on the quilt and you get a sense of the joy the ladies are expressing. I can tell those ladies love to quilt every chance they get!
I can’t want to see what technique she used with the striped fabrics.
As always, it’s a delight to see Jan’s work.
i love jan krentz’s books – would love to win!
I’m thinking outside the box for me, with Quick Star Quilts. What a challenge.
Love the new book! I always look forward to seeing what Jan will come up with next. Saw her last year at QBL (Quilting by the Lake) in Syracuse, NY.
My favorite quilt is he Monet’s Water Lilies Diamond. I like the way the diamonds make just an interesting background for the other images.
I love the quilt on the cover of the book. I can just image it in primary colors and a black background. It would be gorgeous! Good luck Jan on your new book. I love your Hunter Star and I have made one and it’s on my bed :)
I’d say Quick Star Quilts has to be my favoriate. I saw her on The Quilt Show and I would love to win so I can learn more about her methods of quilt construction.
I would love these books–her experiments with shape are intriging. I would love to give some of them a try.
I love Jan’s books. They are quite easy to follow and end up with a stunning quilt. Thanks for running the giveaway.
Someone is going to be very, very lucky.
I hope it is I.
Betty
I have missed Jan’s techniques since Simply Quilts was cancelled from HGTV! Since then all the sewing shows on all PBS stations in the Philadelphia area have also been discontinued. I know that they still air in other areas but not here!
I cannot wait until the new book comes out so I can try Hidden Path quilt!
Can’t wait to se the new book. I’d like to think Jan’s “Distant Horizons” quilt was inspired by her visit to the Hi-Line Quilt Guild in Havre, Montana last winter. I know we all had a memorable time!
Love the Lone Star book . Looking forward to the new one.
Love the package! Keepin’ my fingers and toes crossed.
Jan’s stars are sensational. The next best things to stars are diamonds! Can’t wait to see the book.

hoo-boy!! Sign me up! I’m a big Jan fan!! :) Thank you, C&T!!
I have loved Jan Krentz’s patterns/books ever since she came to my quilt guild meeting and then gave a workshop to make a spiral lone star quilt. She is a wonderful teacher and lecturer. I would have a lot of fun with her new book and tools, if I was blessed enough to win it. Thank you for publishing some absolutely great quilting books!! :-)
What a great prize. I have a lot of material that I could use for these quilts. Thanks!
I signed up for the CTPub Newsletter …. so informative!!! :-)
I love the new book. My grandson will love the hidden path. Quilts are the one thing he will let me make for him. It would make a great pillowcase; of course using a lot less of the pattern. Can’t wait to try.
Thanks for sharing your talent.
I love Jan Krentz’s books and techniques! Her Lone Star quilts are a favorite!! What a great giveaway, thanks for the chance to win.

A wonderful package. I have a tendency to like the geometrics so Jans thing are right up my alley.
Looks good!
Distant Horizons is gorgeous, it looks alive. I am a beginning quilter and I would love to have some books to use to learn.
Years ago I took a class taught by Jan Krentz. I was a little worried as it was the first time I took a class from a big name in the quilt world. Jan was just wonderful and I ended up learning a lot. I’m looking forward to seeing her new book.
I am excited about starting quilting. My mother and grandmother both were quilters but I am just starting at the age of 61.
It looks like it would be so much easier to make a lonestar quilt using Jan’s techniques – I’d love to give it a try!
That Distant Horizon quilt is a dreamy wonder. I’d like to try something similar evoking fall colors.
A great giveaway I’d be a fool to not enter. I don’t know what my favorite Jan Krentz product is because I haven’t had a chance to try any yet but I’ve been eyeing a few and nothing but my UFO’s has kept me from purchasing them recently becauseI know I’ll have to start a new project as soon as I do!
I’ve also posted a link to the giveaway on my blog using one of your buttons. :)
What an awesome prize pack. I love the Quilter’s Design Mirrors. I’ve never used them, but they look like an awesome tool.

Love the look of the QUick Diamonds. I am a sucker for books with “quick” in the title! And I need to do something with diamonds for a change of pace!
I LOVE those diamonds. What a great looking book. The projects look very interesting without being too difficult.
“Dancing African Ladies” is a stunning piece! I love working with African fabrics, so this one really has me excited!
Wonderful quilts. I would like to make anyone of them. Beautiful color combinations.
I just love the lonestar pattern and would like to try the diamond quilt. I need all the help I can get as I have only been quilting for about a year. These patterns intrigue me. They are beautiful.
Would love to win this!
I like Jan’s book, “Lone Star Quilts & Beyond” especially because of the way she uses appliqué in the settings. I like all of her books because of the colors she uses. She’s my kind of quilter!
I love the diamond quilts. I am using them as background to applique large print fabrics for wall hangings. I love the way you blend using this technique.
How fun! Love Jan’s designs in all her books. So glad she has a new one.
Miss Eleanor
The cover quilt is my favorite and definitely one I plan to

Jan Krentz is such a great teacher. I’d love to take one of her classes, but since I am on the other side of the world, her books would be a great second chance.

“Diamond Quilts and Beyond” looks like a great book. This is the first book of diamond quilts that I’d like to make. I’ve read a couple of terrific reviews of it, and can’t wait to use diamonds as a background for applique.
Love Jan’s work… have a couple of books, but not this one…
hoping.

Wow! “Distant Horizon” knocks my socks off. Who knew you could
make such wonderful transitions with diamonds?
What a cool giveaway. Yeah, I’m in!
Would love to be the lucky winner – beautiful work. Thanks.
WOW!! Distant Horizon is wonderful! Diamonds have always been daunting to me, but this quilt looks like it could be so easy… and the tools would certainly help too. Thank you for inspiring us Jan!
I love the diamond landscape and intend to try one of those on my own. Using that diamond shape adds a whole new dimension to the flow of fabric across the face of that quilt. And I would be very happy to see one on the wall in my den.
Beautiful book- I love quilting books even better than quilting!
I love all the stuff Jane does with diamonds
I am a quilter for over 20 yrs. I have not done any of Jan’s designs but would love to win her book & package, to try her designs. They really do look nice and interseting.
I’d like to make any of her quilts that look like they’re based on Monet.
Thank you!
I love Jan’s LoneStar Quilts and beyond. Our guild had her teach a workshop and I had so much fun in her class. The quilt is still one of my favorites. She is a great teacher, as well and terrific author!
Jan’s quilts give the illusion of depth — like you could fall into them and be surrounded by color. It’s a psychedelic trip into what fabric can do — drug free!
I’ve been quilting for many years. LOVE new ideas and incorporating them into things I want to make. Give most of my items as gifts ( despite what my husband says about me selling rather than giving LOL). Just joined a Quilting Guild. Look forward to sharing my newest creations with them !
We love Jan’s books and patterns, and are dying to see the new one as we hope it is what she’ll be teaching when she comes to visit us in Darwin (Australia) in 2011.
Great patterns Jan
Quick easy quilts and what a wonderful result. Stunning. Would love to win as the inspiration would be fantastic.
Another wonderful book with her designs. They seem to be as amazing as them from her former books. I just love her designs, her color choices and the way she explain the construction of each quilt.
I would LOVE to win but suppose it will be almost impossible. She is so very popular and so many comments have already been left. So guess I´m one out of several thousands… LOL.
Look forward to buy the book. MB . Spain
really great how we can order and enjoy your great books here in holland (sorry for my bad enghlish)
keep on doing that please
I’ve been afraid of those diamonds….perhaps one of your books would be the ticket to a new adventure.
We just had Jan Krentz at our guild meeting last month and she presented some of her work that is in her new book and the quilts were spectacular. Quick Diamond Quilts is on my to buy list so that I can add some of the quilts that I saw to my to do list. It would be great to win this package, thanks for the opportunity.
I love Jan’s Hunter Star book. Everything she does is so clear, easy to understand, and easy to accomplish. I would be thrilled to win this package.
Dancing African Ladies is my favorite. It will allow me to use my prints, stripes, all in my stash. The other patterns, too, are interesting and I can see where I will be using this book often. Jan’s books always provide us with exciting ideas. I am hoping I win this prize and will make good use of it.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!!!!! I think that says it all!!! Your new book looks like a winner!!!! That is my new favorite..
I love her fabric choices…the quilts just make you happy to look at them….especially in the winter months! Quick Star Quilts are my favorites.
Jan’s Lone Star Quilts are always breathtaking — her knowledge of color and value, and then the risks she takes breaking the rules — are inspiring, let alone exciting.
Hmmm, my favorite Jan Krentz book/product varies with my mood. Love the way she explains Lone Star quilts, love diamonds and so much more. Would love to win this contest!!

I love the Distant Horizon quilt. It looks like you could meditate while looking at it, very restful, but not pastel. The rulers look helpful. I like gadgets that make things easier to accomplish.

Love the diamonds! All the quilts are awesome, though! Thanks for the chance to win.

WOW !!!!! Nice Prizes—I’d love to take a class with Jan–I think shes teaching at Vermont Quilt Festival this summer
Meeting Jan in person and seeing her suitcase full of samples was SO inspiring that it has made me step out of my mixed media/art quilt box and I’m now making a Lone Star Quilt for my granddaughter’s graduation! I LOVE those mirrors…..instant view of what the finished star will look like from one little sample. And best of all, her instructions are so easy that even I am enjoying this traditional technique!

Thank you for this opportunity. Being new to quilting and with the expense of basic equipment and fabric with just starting out it would be wonderful to win this package. I came across Jan’s website while trying to learn some basic skills and fell in love with “Geisha Garden Quick Open Star” and “Rooster Magnifico Split Touching Star” from “Quick Star Quilts & Beyong” and “Monet’s Water Lillies Diamond Quilt” from “Quick Diamond Quilts and Beyong”. It would also be wonderful to have her templates to compliment her books. Thank you again for this giveaway and the opportunity to enter. I am hoping!

are stunning.
I love Lone Star Quilts & beyond. The quilts make me happy. They are so bright and fun with easy to follow instructions and lots of helpful tips. Thank you.
What an inspirational lady and a cracking giveaway.
I really like the distant shores, it fascinates me how Jan manages to decide which fabric to put where………..I seem to lose the plot and the ability to ’see’ the colour hues properly!
Oh and doesnt her african quilt make you want to reach for a mug of red bush tea!
Fingers crossed !
I have to say my favorite would be this new book Quick Diamond Quilts & Beyond. I am always looking for new inspiration and this appears to fit the bill.
