Here’s a great way to upcycle those teeny tiny scraps of fabric into something pretty for the tree. Take advantage of the post-holiday sales at your local craft store and pick up a bunch of these empty glass ornaments for a song. Take off the tops and stuff them full of pretty fabric scraps and you’re all set!
Thanks to C&T author Diana Taylor for this timely suggestion. We hope you are having a warm and wonderful holiday!

I Have been saving a bag of scraps and shiny bits to do this with – just waiting for the 'after-Christmas' sale to buy the ornaments! I have sequins & glitter, too!
Brilliant!
Fun idea. You can also print photos of quilts (or people, places, things) on transparency film and insert inside of these ornaments. Really makes for a simple & cute ornament. But I also love your idea of using fabric scraps!
How about some ribbons and charms too! =)
Very clever – never like throwing away fabric so this would be great to re-use those scraps!!!
I have enough scraps to make a whole theme of quilting for my tree next year. These ornaments will surely glorify a terrific hobby.
