Mary,
Lynn used Liquitex® acrylic paint alone - no medium added - to make her Quilt Festival inchie pieces. The paint went directly on to a piece of cotton fabric fused to fast2fuse. So easy! Sounds like a great project for 36 kids.

JR Flamingo http://jrflamingofabrics.com at 1139 Fulton Avenue, Suite C will be carrying our Liquitex Surface Design Center in January, but until then you'll have to get Liquitex acrylic paints at your local art supplies store. Check the Liquitex website http://www.liquitex.com to find local retailers.

Fast2fuse can be ordered online at www.ctpub.com or found locally at Bear Paws and Holly Hocks http://bearpawsandhollyhocks.com/ or Meissner Sewing http://meissnersewing.com. Be sure to call first to make sure these shops have it in stock. Let me know if you have any more questions!

I am working on a project with 36 kids to create an auction quilt and this would be a fabulous route to take. I love the way this looks. Can you please tell me what medium was used to paint this fabric? Is it straight paint or is there a thickener added? I would love to know whre to pick up these supplies. I am in Sacramento Ca.
Thanks, Mary

Very cute. And what a fun project for everyone at the Houston Quilt Festival. This would also make a great tile project. So cheerful!

But I have a great idea for printing it on tyvek & making tote bags. Hymm.....I wonder if I can get some high resolution photos of these Inchies to pursue my project (I'll share back, but I do think this is a great one for tyvek bags/artwork).

Thanks for sharing.
