Absolutely beautiful. I’m very excited to hear about this book. I do love Susan Schrempf’s work. She is so talented. And YLI makes such
    delightful products.

Difficult to pick a favorite set, but I’d certainly love to play with insights from this book with some holiday projects and use silk ribbon to help embellish. Such fun!

I have to pick a *favorite*?!? Yikes! I love the Iced Sherbets that were the basis for the class in NV in October — I loved them and the class so much that I bought three more sets in Houston. LOL! But my favorite — after much dithering — is is probably the Jewel Box set.

Thanks so much, Susan, for giving me that little “tutorial” in Houston! :)

Oh Susan! These are just what my sister and I hoped for at the Wisconsin Quilt Expo when we saw your lecture and your booth. I”ll pick the Iced Sherbets because I’m sure my sister will pick the Jewel Box. Then we’ll get the Natural Neutrals for the next project. Thanks so much for listening to what your students want!

Too hard to choose. Silk ribbon is my favorite medium so it depends on what mood I’m in for colors. Since the sun is out today, I will go with Jewel Box so the sun can reflect off the gorgeous colors.

  39. Posted November 3, 2009 at 1:34 pm | Permalink

Iced Sherbert would be nice and I believe it would go great with 30’s fabrics…. but since I’ve fallen head over heals with ULTRA BRIGHT, SHOUT IN YOUR FACE COLOURS, I’d think that I’d prefer “Jewel Box”…

    *grin*

But, HEY! if you draw my name, I’d actually take ANY colors you want to send me! *VBG*
