No Longer a UFO, I Finally Got it Quilted

Way back in July, I blogged about getting this UFO quilted. Ruthmary, one of our Sales Reps, finished it in August and here it is September already. Ruthmary did a fabulous job as you can see in the photos. Now I’m binding it and hope to be finished by the 19th. That’s my 28th wedding anniversary and this quilt is a present for my husband, Jeff.

Beautiful….I'm very jealous. I have a 80×80 quilt almost hand quilted. I just have a small side of the border to finish, then the binding. I started this quilt over 2 years ago. I got bored with it, and put it away. It is for a SIL. I'll have to pull it back out, you inspired me :P

I learned to longarm this (still need lots of practice) and have been able to quilt a number of quilts. It isn't suitable for all of my pieces, ut works for enough of them to make it worth it.
