Last Saturday, the C&T warehouse and parking lot was ROCKIN’!!
We partnered with Fiskars to put on a big event in conjunction with the Northern California Paper Chase. More than 40 scrappers and crafters came to crop and shop for a whole day.
C&T staffers set up nine different stations where our guests could make small projects using a variety of techniques like needle felting, fabric fusing, painting, and stenciling. Most people call it “make-n-take”…but we like to call it “stay-n-play!”

The concept of “staying and playing” is so important—we encourage all teachers and retailers to give artists and crafters plenty of quality time, plus the right tools, to really get IN to new techniques and materials. I was so impressed with everyone’s willingness to try something they had never done before, and many were able to incorporate what they made into their scrapbooking projects.
The joyful Fisk-a-teer orange and green spirit was everywhere, and how serendipitous that C&T’s painted dropcloths and our current catalog colors matched the flavor!

Special guests visited too—designer Daniela Costa brought everyone her custom collage sheets, and Allison from Hambly Screen Prints showered us with gorgeous papers, rub-ons, and transparencies.
Fiskars gave out loads of doorprizes and treats. Lead Fisk-a-teer Angela Daniels made the day extra special for everyone!

Door prizes!
Thanks to everyone who came out for the day – a good time was definitely had by all!
