If you ever need a clock or watch repaired I have a friend near Amarillo, TX that has been repairing them for 50 years. Contact me if you want more info.
Oooooo, that’s a very handsome clock!
Cute photo of you in the background as well :)
I can’t believe the serendipity going on here. I just came out of my basement with an old clock circa 1930, and thought to myself, what can I do with this. I’d obviously kept it around for some reason. After looking around the house for a proper place to plug it in, I decided that I’d put it in my 5-yr. old daughter Emma’s room to help her learn to tell time the old-fashioned way. Nowadays, to my dismay, clocks are all digital. I may just pass it on to your collection after we’re through this learning phase. : )
What a terrific find and the price wasn’t bad either. A truly beautiful old mantle clock. Thanks for sharing, I love seeing other’s garage sale treasures, and there truly are some wonderful treasures just waiting for the right folks to come along and fall in love with them.
Lovely!!!
I collect old alarm clocks. Love the type with the bell on top; they remind me of cartoon clocks. I think it is their graphic nature that appeals to me. The hands on your garage sale find are really cool.
