Weekly Giveaway: Timtex

20117You may recall a post we made last year about the return of Timtex. We’re now selling bolts of Timtex to quilt and fabric stores and just recently created a craft pack which contains a 13.5 inch x 22 inch cut of Timtex.

Up next for our weekly product giveaway is our new Timtex Craft Pack. We’ve seen some great bags and postcards made with it, and we’re curious to hear what you are making with Timtex.

Post a comment below and describe what you have made or are planning to make with our new Timtex.

One lucky winner will receive a free Timtex Craft Pack. On Monday morning, May 4, we’ll pick one commenter at random and announce the winner later that day. Good luck!

I have been painting timtex and free-motion stitchin on it to make postcards/birthday cards and ATC’s. Lots of fun to do, fast and creates a different look.

I would love to make a tote bag for my vacation travels, there are so many wonderful patterns right now and most need something like Timtex to stiffen the bottom.

Thanks for the chance to win some!

oh my gosh Timtex is a staple in my studio! I use it to make journals and books with, postcards and ATC’s and I use it as a base for making textured tissue paper surfaces that I turn into boxes and vases. I can’t live without the stuff and was very happy when you brought it back on the market.

I use it to make bags, of course and those cute fabric bowls. We just bought a shelf at ikea that has 8 cubby sections to it for my son’s room. I thought I would use the Timtex to make custom storage cubes for it.

I’m using Timtex on the back of canvas placemats that I am using as the backgrounds for a series of art quilts with a goddess theme. This way they’re stiff enough so I don’t have to frame them but they hang nicely on the wall.

I’ve never used the product before, but have seen crafts made with it. I would use it to make myself some fabric storage baskets for my newly painted sewing room. I’m trying to organize as I bring stuff back in so this would be a very timely win! I’d like to try my hand at fabric postcards too…that at a later date.

I use Timex as the bottom of the reversible tote bags I am making (20 on the cutting table right now). I just picked up a pattern for some fabric bowls, and I like the idea of using it to make storage bins. I also have a pattern for storing sewing tools that could use some rigidity. So the next one will have a layer of Timex sandwiched in.
Thanks for the opportunity to add more to my stash!

I need a new fabric basket for my kitchen counter. We have outgrown the small one I made and timtex works great to keep it standing upright and sturdy…
