You know who you are. You love your t-shirts and refuse to part with them. The way they spillover like a hot popover as your drawer opens, fade with each washing becoming ever so soft and oh the memories!
Well you aren’t alone. According to The Bluecotton T-shirt’s recent survey, nearly 80% of Americans say they feel a sense of attachment to at least one of their old t-shirts. “A glimpse into someone’s t-shirt drawer is like a stroll through his or her past,” said Mike Coffey, CEO of BlueCotton. “A Little League championship, a first concert, a family vacation, a cherished alma mater, your own business – every person’s list is like a snapshot of their personality.”
Win this week’s giveaway, Terrific Tees by Roberta De Luz and give new life to favorite T-shirts by making them into quilts you’ll be proud to display. Most quilts in this book use traditional piecing and block patterns. The relationship between the subject of the tees and the quilt design is what makes these quilts so successful.
To enter the giveaway, post a comment here and let us know what your favorite T-shirt is.
The winner will be chosen at random from all comments made by 9 AM PST on Monday, April 27th. Wear your T-shirt for luck!

Soon (hopefully!) I will start on a quilt for my cousin Robyn using her favorite onesies and outfits from her son that she doesn’t want to give away or reuse for future children because they were special for her first born child or they were gifts from family etc. This is a great way to remember those awesome times spent comfortably snuggled in those clothing items without the storage issues that come along with saving all those different outfits.

My favorite t-shirt is one that my hubby used to have and I took it after he quit wearing it. It has a cartoon looking cat on it that looks like it’s been pressed up against a window. I call it my splat cat shirt. I have worn it so much it has a hole at the collar and shoulder and paint on it from where I painted the rooms of our house. It’s very comfortable and has a lot of memories with it. I love that shirt!

My girlfriend bought my ticket to the Blue Jays and Yankees game in Toronto, Canada. We went with her husband, two daughters, two grandsons, and her son-in-law. They were all Yankee fans. The only person that was happy on the way home was me, ( being a Blue Jays fan, ) they beat the Yankees 7-5. I not only got a Blue Jay lunch box, but, I also bought a t-shirt that I still wear till this day, 7 years later.
