We have a winner for the March Design Challenge – and it’s Deborah from Virginia! Congrats, Deb – a prize package is headed your way! You can see her cute cupcake-themed scrapbook layouts on our Design Challenge Flickr Gallery. Deb’s name was randomly selected from all the entries received.

I just posted my animal entry in the C&T Design Group on Flickr.
It is a wall hanging with two cats appliqued on by my embellishing machine and I named it “Mirror Image.
It is there under the name squarequilter.
We have lots of entries on our Flickr page – be sure to check them out!

One of my online art groups is doing a pet project, a deco round robin. Here’s where you can see the book I made for my dogs and the pages I’ve done for others’ b0oks. http://www.flickr.com/photos/wabbitco/sets/72157617614748919/

This small quilt honors Gracie, a beautiful, sickly dog who was adopted by my sister-in-law. She nursed her to health and enjoyed 14 wonderful years until this past winter, when she sadly passed away. A photo of Gracie was transferred to fabric, then a small green border and a larger floral border were added. Machine outline quilting enhanced the quilt with a realism that was appreciated by my sister-in-law.
