Oreo has influenced my quilting, in that if I lose anything, I go look in his bed and can usually find thread spools, block pieces etc. and I have to time the measuring of quilt for borders around his being outside, or else its near impossible :) Cute book!

My Bentley is the most loving dog. He curls at my feet as I sit at my sewing machine. I have made him collars of many colors. I am even going to teach a class (Dog Collars & scrafs) at the local quilt shop this quarter.

I have a Shar Pei puppy. It is a hard breed to find pictures, fabric or other stuff of but when I do I go crazy. She is also the daughter I don’t have so she gets dressed up in the pink, purples, and frilly outfits so my son is safe.

I have four dogs, from small to large. I sew, but my real craftiness comes out with crochet. At first I used scrap yarn to make the dogs funky collars. Now I actually buy yarn specifically to make them things. Two of my dogs love wearing coats and sweaters so I’ve started a little collection of those.

Uh, I had a cat that just had to be right on top of my papers that I was working with and even if I managed to work around her body, it was usually impossible to win the paw battle for whatever tool was in my hand. Oh, how cute! I cannot see my little half Pom/half Poodle wearing wings, but I sure wish he would!! He has lots and lots of hair (mostly blonde), so I never considered a coat for him … but I bet there are some other great things he could wear, eh?

My crafting has already been inspired by the new member in my daughter’s household, Sparky, their Chihuaha! He is in all their family pictures and videos now. So I am making more dog centered cards and scrapbook pages. I would love to win this book for Sparky’s new wardrobe!
